If you are looking for someone who updates frequently and will be an active participant in your life, keep looking - I'm far too introverted for such things and school comes first anyway. If you're willing to sit through several months of silence to be rewarded with a flood of entries while I'm on break, then this might be for you.
I used to live in Lexington, Kentucky. Then I moved to Dayton, Ohio. Then the crime rate sent my girlfriend and me fleeing to Springfield, OH where those wacky lenders actually let us buy a house. I would much rather be in the middle of nowhere. Even though I'm from Kentucky, I don't have an accent. I do say "y'all." I miss Lexington with a passion and I once hoped to get back to Kentucky sometime around 2011, but now I'm looking at graduate school. Maybe I'll make it back by the time I retire.
I'm currently attending college as a geology/earth sciences major and finagled my way into the honors program. Someone even saw fit to give me scholarship (it's a small one). When school is in session, I study upwards of eight or more hours a day and tend to not post much.
I write prose and poetry that periodically litter my journal. Most of the entries, however, are just that - journal entries. They are unedited and rarely brief.
I have too many cats and never enough time. If you have the time, I'll give you a cat.
I am: Libra Sun, Gemini rising; Tiger; INTP at home, ISFJ at work; according to Crowley, I'm the Prince of Swords or the Prince of Wands, depending on the day. Mostly, I'm a Sword. The more science I study, the less I believe the things I once did, but I'll leave these here. They will give you a decent idea of my personality.
I'm transsexual. I started transitioning to male in 1995. I've been on T since '99 and am still pre-op, for those of you who simply must know. When I have the money, there are a couple of things I'd like to get off my chest. I used to write about this a lot here, but I've had very little to say about it for the past several years and I'm rather glad of that.
I used to be crazy. I was diagnosed as bipolar II years ago and at the time, given the evidence, I think that fit. These days, not so much. It took several years of consciously, continuously, and forcibly restructuring the way I think to eradicate the tendency to ruminate and stay depressed, but I think I've got it licked. Yay!
